IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TROPHY COASTAL BLACK BEAR THE HUNT IS OVER...
Bullbear Guide Service is located on the Quinault Indian Reservation in Taholah Washington, I offer World Class Black Bear hunting with a guaranteed black bear tag to hunt. Join expert Guide Trevis Jones as we pursues some of the largest Coastal Black Bears you will ever see anywhere. Many of the bears harvested score well over 20 inches in skull and measure nose to tail over 7 feet plus in length. A large amount of the bears that are harvested will be in the 400-500 pound range (See Above). Hunts are conducted from either tree stands or ground blinds over bait stations that are consistently monitored by game cameras  on a daily basis.

WHY ARE THESE BEARS BIGGER?
The tremendous runs of salmon that enter the Quinault, Queets, Raft, Salmon and Cookcreek rivers provide abundant food for black bears. This source of enhanced protein is what puts on the pounds and creates the growth on the coastal bears of the Quinault Reservation. In addition, the Quinault Indian Nation does not use herbicides on the forest harvest units.  This creates dense stands of Salmonberry, Evergreen Huckleberry, Salal, Crabapple, Cascara, Blueberry and Elderberry that also provide abundant fruit crops for the bears to fatten on each fall.  Severe bear damage to trees is widely spread throughout the Quinault Indian Reservation. It is for this reason, non-native black bear guided hunts
are conducted
